“Being an avid outdoorsman (woman), coolers are an essential item in our pack. We usually pack 2 to 3 different coolers to suit our needs and nothing is worse than opening up that stored cooler and being hit with the stench of mildew. Not only are you disgusted with the smell, but you have to spend 15 minutes of your pack time cleaning out the damn thing. I used to wash out the coolers and leave them outside with the lids open however this led to multiple broken hinges and the coolers sitting on the back deck for weeks. When I discovered Cooler Dry it was like a revelation. This simple plastic clip can solve all my cooler-storing problems. Now when I wash out my coolers, I throw a Cooler dry on the side and stack them in my garage then and there. "I am a flyfishing and whitewater outfitter in Washington; and, I’m a clean cooler fanatic. I cannot stand a cooler that smells of old food, fish or even just that musty smell coolers develop when they’re stored with the lid closed. Coolers are expensive; and, we use them a lot. We serve fine breakfasts, lunches and dinners on the river. A favorite is Halibut topped with Dungeness Crab and Filet Mignon with asparagus on the side. A clean cooler is imperative. I found Cooler Dry several years ago. It’s pretty easy, with little effort, to keep a cooler in very good condition.
